About Summit Building Design
Mert Can Turan, the founder of our company, received his civil engineering education in the dual degree program between Istanbul Technical University and SUNY University at Buffalo. With the completion of the program, he was awarded bachelor's degree in civil engineering both in Turkey and in United States. Later, for two years, he worked as a manager in a turnkey project in Chelsea District, the most luxurious real estate district of New York City, and worked as project engineer in two separate projects in the same city. Then returned to Turkey in order to continue his service here and completed a construction project in Sancaktepe District as the project manager and site supervisor. At the same time, in the name of professionalization in the administrative field, he completed his undergraduate education at Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration and is currently accepted to the Earthquake Engineering Graduate Program of Boğaziçi University. He continues to work with the determination to move our building stock to a more advanced level by using his technical knowledge in the background.
